The Time Has Come Today

Procrastination is a girl's worst enemy at this time of the year, but alas...I am weak. I am weak minded and unable to resist procrastination's temptation. I started the next chapter of "Mosaic" and, it's about half done, but...I was going through some writing books with a friend the other day, and found a rather interesting writing exercise and had to try it out. Truth be told, I don't know if I like how this turned out. I don't know if it works structurally or if I even like the idea of setting up a story to play out like this, but...alas...it was merely an exercise. And, it worked with the prompt I picked for a FF Challenge.

So, the story starts in the middle. Then, as the middle to end play out, there are flashbacks which reveal what happened from the beginning to middle. LOL, confused yet?

Anyhoo, I'm sure no one actually cares about my reasonings for structuring this the way that I did. So...basically...this is based off the prompt "It was only a kiss, how did it end up like this?" for [info]seasonal_smut ...Derek and Addison find themselves kissing and the kissing leads to more. Flashbacks alternate with the "smutty" scenes to show how it is that they've found themselves in such a situation.

Oh, and needless to say...this is NC 17.

Happy belated Thanksgiving.

This chapter is actually almost timely, as it's set the day before Thanksgiving, LOL....I said almost. ;)

Here's the next chapter...Derek and Addison prepare to go back to New York; Addison doubts Meredith and confronts her.
